The 3^rd V4SDB Meeting, similarly to previous meetings held in Brno and Szeged, aims to provide an outstanding forum for researchers of the V4 region and beyond to exchange knowledge and ideas across various aspects of developmental biology.

The main conference will take place in the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, September 8^th - 10^th, 2023.

The scientific programme comprises a range of themed sessions dedicated to:
•    Early embryonic development
•    Organogenesis
•    Hormonal regulation of developmental processes
•    Gene networks and epigenetics in developmental biology
•    Stem cells and regeneration
•    Cellular dynamics and migration in developmental biology
•    In vitro models in developmental biology

The participants would be able to share their results in the form of oral presentations or posters.

The main conference will be accompanied by the Young Developmental Biologists’ Forum held on September 7^th - 8^th, 2023. During this day-and-a-half-long event, graduate students and early-stage postdocs will participate in practical workshops on developmental biology, polish their soft skills, and have an opportunity to present their data during special plenary sessions → More information

Additionally, on September 7^th, 2023, we will hold an online outreach event dedicated to secondary and high school students in all V4 countries. → More information

The conference report, summarizing the main scientific topics discussed during the meeting, will be published in the International Journal of Developmental Biology.
